Former University of Texas at Dallas dean of libraries Dr. Larry Sall and his wife, Judy, have made a planned gift to create a scholarship aimed at opening doors and expanding opportunities for future students, establishing the Judy and Larry Sall Scholarship Fund.

AT&T Grant Brightens Future for Academic Bridge, Young Students

The University of Texas at Dallas received a $75,000 grant from the AT&T Foundation to support the Academic Bridge and Future Comets programs, which help prepare young students for college life and STEM careers through advising, mentoring and tutoring.

Academic Bridge Program Puts Students on Path to Success at UT Dallas

The University of Texas at Dallas’ Academic Bridge Program helps students take their skills to a new level by teaching new time-management skills and study habits. The program encourages students to work with tutors, be academically honest, work hard, and cut procrastination. Academic Bridge provides services including tutoring, mentoring, housing and financial assistance to students from underrepresented communities.

Company Internships Help Academic Bridge Students Close the Transition Gap

Since its establishment in 2000, the Academic Bridge Program at UT Dallas has helped students make the transition to college life. The program relies on relationships with area partners to provide opportunities that will prepare the students to succeed after graduation.

Donors Boost Support for University Programs on Day of Philanthropy

Science and Tech Students Test Life on a College Campus

The CRI program hosted high school students from the Energized for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Academy in Houston in June. Two groups from the academy each spent two weeks on the UT Dallas campus, where the activities centered on STEM topics.
