Welcome to the Healthcare Studies program.

Healthcare is one of the sectors expected to show the fastest job growth between 2010 and 2020, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. In the same 10-year period, the bureau projects the healthcare industry to gain 5.6 million jobs. The School of Interdisciplinary Studies responded to the national need for healthcare that exists in our nation and around the world by offering the Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Studies in 2012.

The BS in Healthcare Studies offers a flexible path for students who want to pursue a variety of healthcare occupations. Our outstanding faculty members bring a wealth of clinical and academic experience and our academic advisors offer extensive services to help students prepare for health professions.

The program enrolls entering freshmen and transfer students, as well as post-baccalaureate students who are changing careers and seeking second bachelor’s degrees.

I invite you to learn more about the BS in Healthcare Studies, by browsing our Web pages and meeting with one of our advisors. Please contact our advising office for more information regarding the program.
