Healthcare Studies Junior Attends Congressional Hearing

When Healthcare Studies junior Abbad Hoda heard about the Archer Fellowship, he knew it would be a rare opportunity to jumpstart a career in public health. He’s in Washington, D.C., now and his internship enabled him to attend the nomination hearing for Dr. Mehmet Oz, President Trump’s nominee for administrator of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, before the Senate Finance Committee.

We’re so proud of Abbad and excited to see what comes next for him!

If you’d like to learn more about Abbad’s experience with Healthcare Studies and what drove him to pursue public health, read his Student Spotlight interview or watch the video.
