Hey there, friends! Did you know I have only one more day of classes before the semester is over? Of course, I still have to turn in final assignments after that, but at least I can do it from the comfort of my pajamas, at home in my bed with a laptop and a jar of peanut butter. (I reward myself with one spoon per paragraph. We need these little treats.)
In the above video, I talk about how my classes are wrapping up. And I mildly chastise you for missing the piñata party. Unless you didn’t miss the piñata party, in which case ayyeeee thanks for coming! Mark your calendar for April next year ’cause we about to do it again!
I have 11 days to finish both final projects. For Foundations, my fandom class, I’m writing a paper proposal. I’ve already written exhaustively about that project, so I’ll spare you. For Poetry Workshop, it’s a 4-poem chapbook with a 2,000 word essay explaining why I chose the revisions I chose, providing context for the work, etc. Plus I’ve got to have a multimedia component. I already have a good idea of what I’m going to turn in, but doing it will take some time and effort.
When I’m done with both projects, I’ll be sure to post them here so you can go look!
Right now I’m living for the weekend after I turn in my assignments. Not only will my classes be over, but it’ll be Mother’s Day weekend, so I’ll feel deeply justified in doing nothing for a couple days. Won’t you join me?
