I did it, y’all. I went on vacation. I was gone for more than two glorious weeks, a total of seventeen majestic days. It was blissful. I floated in a pool all day while butlers brought me LaCroix and deleted all my voicemails. I didn’t lift a finger for anyone or have a single stressful thought. I simply existed, doing exactly what I wanted without a care in the world.
LOL j/k none of that happened. I did have a few days at the lake while I was gone, but if you’re a mom on a lake vacation, your life is about wet swimsuits and kids saying they’re bored even though there’s an entire wilderness outside. But at least I had a couple weeks to sleep a little later and a few days where I never got out of my PJ’s.
Anyway, that’s over. I’m back. Fall semester is about to start, and that means my final semester of the MA and my final descent into a research project that has evolved into something I never expected. (Teaser!)
In this video I talk about finishing the Capstone course and my writing schedule for the Research Project. Graduation is coming up in December, so when you watch the video, pay close attention and you’ll see the panic in my eyes when I talk about that.
